Classes:
Ju-jutsu: Ju-jutsu is a martial art that originated from Japan, comprised of several different fighting elements: strikes, kicks, throws, joint locks, and chokes. The main focus in Ju-jutsu is preservation of one’s life in the face of physical assault
Women’s Self Defense: Techniques designed for escaping and evading the attacks most frequently perpetrated against women. The course is only open to women.
Special Topics (One per semester):
Baton: This class focuses on the proper use of a baton as a method of self defense.
Tanjo-jutsu: A tanjo is a short staff roughly 4ft or shorter. Students will learn how to use a tanjo to strike, choke, throw, and joint lock opponents.
Jujo-jutsu™: Learn self defense techniques that revolve around the use of the Jujo™.
OC/Pepper spray: This class teaches the proper use of pepper spray. Students train by using a non-irritant spray.
